The Start of Something New and Superconductivity!

Welcome to The World Ends With Science! This is my first post and though I'm initially doing this for a grade, perhaps I'll continue with this blog long after my time
in University has ended. A little about me will be up later in the "Brains Behind" about me section later on as well as a post possibly sometime next week. However, for now, let's get on with what I'm here for!

Superconductivity and Our Needs!

I was watching Youtube videos trying to figure out what my first blog writing assignment would talk of when I came across the above video. (Watch it to gain a better understanding of what I'm talking about.) After watching the video, I thought about what I had seen and thought: Magnet travel! I began thinking about Shinkansen trains used in Japan and how much faster they could travel using transportation that depended on physics like what the video explains. (Maybe they wouldn't be so CROWDED if they moved that fast!) My knowledge of this is novice at best, but wouldn't traffic seem to be a bit less of a problem if there were trains using magnets like this able to take people where they want to go? Seems amazing, huh?
